Database Basics
I have a Kaplan IT task about designing a simple database for a small shop. I understand tables and records, but relationships between tables are still confusing to me. I saw people searching for do my Kaplan online assignments, but I want to learn the topic properly and complete my own work. Could someone explain how to decide which tables are needed before starting the design? Also, is it better to draw the database structure first and then explain it in the report? Any beginner-friendly advice would be great.

"I still remember bombing my first database quiz—joins and normalization felt like a foreign language. Back then, I honestly needed help with my online class just to keep up. Now, as a PhD student working part-time at The Online Class Help, I've realized practice is everything: build small schemas, write queries daily, and don't fear errors. Those struggles shaped me and inspired me to guide others through the same confusion. Database basics click when you stay consistent, ask questions, and learn from every mistake."
